I’ve done a bit of Pay Per Click advertising with Google’s Adwords. It can be daunting with all the options and decisions that you have to make. It seems like the settings are endless. I’ve spent well over $1,000 on ebooks and $100 a month for PPC Classroom 2.0 just to feel confident posting my ads with Google.
Today I just opened a Yahoo PPC account because I received a postcard in the mail for $75 credit to open a new account with them. If you haven’t started with PPC yet this is a good place to start. It is a lot simpler than Google Adwords and they give you the $75 to start. All you need to invest is their minimum deposit of $30. Here’s the link to get started.

Other PPC advertising spots that are a lot easier to get started with than Google are Facebook and Myspace PPC Ads.
I hope this helps you to break the PPC ice. I know I was intimidated by it for a while but now I keep many campaigns running all the time and you will too once you get the hang of it and start to make money with PPC advertising. The investment is well worth it if you know what you are doing.
Probably one of the most important aspects of getting results and understanding PPC is in the “KeyWords”. Here’s a great tool for Keywords that is worth getting if you plan to do PPC advertising. Check it out and see if this tool is right for you!
Every great marketing plan includes several advertising methods. Pay per click can be an excellent addition to any campaign. Get started the right way and learn the secret power of Key Words.
Another excellent way to promote a product or business is through direct response mail advertising. In fact it is still possibly the largest and most effect way to promote. A great way to get started with DRM (Direct Response Mail) is with a simple Post Card Mailing. For under $400 for a thousand piece mailing, including printing, postage and mailing service you could create some great results with this offline promotion method. Remember that the most effective marketing campaigns always include multiple forms of media exposure. There currently is really no better way to promote any product or business than to combine online and offline techniques.
I’ve been helping people to successfully use these types of campaigns for the last 12 years. Let me know if I can help you too! : )
